Dunbia exhibit at World’s Leading Food Show
Dunbia, one of the UK’s leading red meat processors travelled to Sial, the world leading food show in Paris from 19th – 23rd October. Over 5,300 food companies from all around the world exhibited at Sial this year, showcasing the products they can offer to the some 140,000 visitors who attended. Dunbia, who has facilities throughout the UK and Ireland were situated on a Dunbia branded area on the Livestock and Meat Commission stand in the busy and vibrant meat zone. Over the five day period Dunbia attracted much interest in their top quality beef and lamb products from customers in France, Spain, Ukraine and other European countries.
Although Sial is primarily an exhibition for gaining potential new business, for Dunbia it provides a suitable platform for meeting with existing customers in a neutral environment helping to build customer relationships. Jim Dobson, Managing Director Dunbia, who attended Sial, said “as always Sial was an excellent exhibition putting the UK and Ireland on the map as quality producers of red meat products with the ability to compete in the global market. Dunbia has come back with several prospective new customers and we must work hard to generate business with these companies.”
