DUNBIA SPONSOR YFCU RURAL AFFAIRS STUDY TRIP

As Agri Event Sponsor for YFCU, Dunbia has supported the Rural Affairs Committee study trip to Scotland.

Over 40 YFCU members travelled to Scotland on a two-day trip which took in a number of farm visits and an opportunity to attend the AgriScot exhibition.

Speaking prior to their departure, Dr Jonathon Birnie, Head of Agriculture & Research commented: “Dunbia is delighted to support the YFCU study trip to Scotland.  The future of our industry lies in the next generation of farmers and our commitment to providing support and advice to them.  This study trip will give the attendees the opportunity to see best practices on Scottish farms, some of which they can adopt on their own farms.”

The Young Farmers’ Clubs of Ulster CEO, Michael Reid, thanked Dunbia for their support:  “YFCU is delighted to have Dunbia on board as our Agri Events partner. Through our partnership, we have been able to provide great opportunities for YFCU members such as live to dead events at Dunbia where we have gained an insight on the work done at Dunbia across the UK and a Grassland Management event where members were given a practical work-shop on best grassland practices.  The study trip to Scotland is further event from which our members will benefit greatly.”
