The company currently wishes to recruit highly skilled, motivated and driven people to be based on our Dungannon Primary Site. Essentially we are seeking determined and committed individuals who can impact on performance and make a positive contribution to the company's future growth. Reporting to the Primary Company Accountant, the successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the preparation of Primary Weekly accounts and any other associated duties
Assist with the preparation of weekly accounts for Primary
Review and post weekly journals to ERP system
Prepare relevant reports to assist with the management of the Primary business including KPI Reports and Boning Hall Costings;
Perform allocated balance sheet reconciliation’s on a weekly/monthly basis.
Act as backup for sales ledger and kill payments functions.
· Accounting Technicians/CIMA part Qualified or those from a practice background is essential;
Strong organisational skills with ability to plan workloads effectively and to meet deadlines;
Attain good analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
Previous experience of preparing weekly accounts and balance sheet reconciliations;
Working knowledge of ERP Accounting Systems is desirable;
Minimum two years experience of working in an accountancy practice or industry is desirable
Excellent IT skills and strong working knowledge of Excel;
This role operates on a Monday to Friday. All candidates must be flexible and prepared to work additional hours when required to meet customer demand.
