Team Leader in BHB

The Role:

Reporting to the Boning Hall Butchery Manager, we are currently seeking an individual to undertake the role of Team Leader within the Boning Hall Butchery department. The role will involve overseeing the Production Line to ensure targets are met within deadlines, without compromising on quality or control of costs.  

 

Main Duties:                                     

  • Support the achievement of departmental yield and efficiency targets.
  • Ensuring good housekeeping is maintained.
  • Ensuring that Quality, Health & Safety and other Company policies are adhered to.
  • Works line with the production plan to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Effectively communicating from operative to senior management level.
  • Effectively delegating jobs to staff on their line but still taking responsibility for the running of the line.
  • Fully understands each stage of production on their line -e.g. from top of line to end of line-and can solve problems and issues.

 

The Person:

  • Have excellent organisational skills with the ability to plan workloads effectively to meet deadlines.
  • The ability to communicate in the medium of English is a requirement.
  • Have well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Be highly motivated.
  • Be able to work as part of a team as well as on their own initiative.
  • Have a keen eye for quality and high attention to detail.
  • Will be committed to working within the Company Values.

Training and support will be given for this role.
